The Students Islamic Organisation of India West Bengal chapter organized a round table meeting in Kolkata on the theme “Digital Obsession, Pornography and Drug Addiction.”

Currently, SIO is conducting a statewide campaign titled “Cooperate with one another in righteousness and self-restraint” across West Bengal. As part of this campaign, the round table meeting was organized.

Administrators from various schools in Kolkata and nearby areas, distinguished teachers, doctors, and social workers participated in the meeting. During the discussion, deep concern was expressed over the alarming rise of digital obsession, pornography, and drug addiction among students and youth in the present time.

The invited guests emphasized that family orientation, effective counseling, and personal guidance are extremely important to protect students and youth from these harmful addictions. They also stressed the importance of collective efforts by families, educational institutions, and society to build a healthy, aware, and morally responsible generation.

The chief guest of the program was Abdul Hafiz, the All India President of Students Islamic Organisation of India. Also present were Sheikh Imran Hossain, President of SIO West Bengal, along with other state leaders.
